Convert your MINI John Cooper Works into the GP version thanks to the new GP Pack

Starting in July you can order your MINI John Cooper Works with the new GP Pack, which brings its look closer to the most radical GP variant

MINI has known exactly how to give us sharper fangs with the John Cooper Works GP, as you will remember, an even more radical version of the MINI JCW built under strict limited edition of 3,000 units, of which only 100 units will reach our country, at a price that is not excessive at all, 45,900 euros, considering everything this vehicle can offer us. Still, not every budget can afford it, so the conventional John Cooper Works version remains a great option.

Even so, the MINI John Cooper Works offers fully sporty characteristics thanks to its improved dynamic behaviour and a mechanical setup that holds its own, with its 2,000 cc turbo engine that gives us 231 CV of power and allows this little car to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. Furthermore, the new GP Pack now lets us give our MINI JCW a look very similar to that of the GP variant.

To do so, the MINI John Cooper Works will have its bodywork painted in the same Racing Grey as the GP variant, along with Melting Silver as a contrast on areas such as the roof, the exterior mirror housings and the rear spoiler. To further give the MINI John Cooper Works the same personality as the GP variant, elements such as the air intakes on the front, the frames of the front and rear light clusters, the door handles, the fuel cap and the MINI logos have been painted black. All of this is finished off with a specific central cap for the hubs, although the wheels will not be the same as on the JCW GP.

The interior also features changes to give it an even more radical image. The sports seats upholstered in Dinamica leather now include the GP logo, embroidered on the backrest, something that also applies to the front floor mats. The steering wheel upholstered in Walknappa leather features a red 12 o’clock ring and, if we have opted for the version equipped with the 8-speed Steptronic transmission, behind it we will find the metal shift paddles manufactured using a 3D process and with the GP logo included.

For the time being we do not know what the price of this GP Pack will be, which will have to be added to the other options available for the MINI John Cooper Works, but we do know it will be available to order starting next July.
