Cozy Van, the motorhome built on a KIA Bongo that we won't see in Spain
It hasn’t reached Spain, but this motorhome, which a Kia salesperson chose as its base, is a very interesting vehicle and will surely catch attention.

Motorhome lovers have a wide variety of models to discover and enjoy their holidays. But there are some models we keep getting to know that will never reach our country. KIA is not usually a brand that offers its vehicles for this purpose, so when we came across this model, based on a commercial vehicle from the brand sold in Korea, we wanted to take a closer look. It is the Cozy Van, which is built on a KIA Bongo.
This motorhome has a fairly attractive and practical look. There is plenty of room for a family to enjoy a good holiday on board without any problems. And, being Korean, it has some features that surprise us. But let’s start with the first thing, which is its length.

The 6.5 metres long this vehicle measures is more than enough to provide equipment for the whole family. The occupants have a U-shaped lounge so the whole family can gather around the table. A complete kitchen, with a hob, a sink and a 150-litre fridge completes this area.

A complete bathroom, with toilet and shower is also available. It features an outdoor awning and an outdoor shower, so you can enjoy showering in the open air.
As for comfort, we find air conditioning, heating and even underfloor heating, so it is not just a vehicle for summer. And, among those surprising features that are very common in Korea, there is a space at the entrance for taking off your shoes. This area has a hot air outlet that allows shoes to be dried if they are wet. A very attractive option, especially where there is a tradition of removing shoes when entering the home.
Engine and price
As for the engine, this motorhome uses the engine of the KIA Bongo. It is a 2.5-litre diesel engine that delivers 133 CV and 293 Nm of maximum torque. All things considered, its price is the equivalent of €69,500. In Spain, if it ever arrived, its price would go up. But even so, it would surely win the approval of users of this type of leisure vehicle.
