The Modus Operandi team from Crazy Ride Game won the Spanish final and will face the European teams in a showdown on June 4 and 5.

Owners of old cars that they feel especially reluctant to simply scrap are in luck, because Renault offers them a way for their vehicles to end their useful life in a very special way. It is called Crazy Ride Game, and it has become the craziest race of Renault.

From Renault they have shaped this initiative, which seeks to give a second chance to the models of the French brand. The essential requirement to take part in the Crazy Ride Game is that the Renault in question has been transformed into a sports car.

Once that transformed sports car is ready, it can take part in the craziest race of the brand with the diamond logo. After the success achieved in the first edition, held in 2018, preparations for the second event have already begun.

The Crazy Ride Game consists of a challenge to transform not-so-modern cars that seek an alternative to the dreaded scrapyard and find a second life thanks to their new chassis, the work of their creators and, of course, their imagination.

What are the aims of the Crazy Ride Game? First, to encourage teamwork, to value the work carried out in workshops, and to enjoy an outdoor leisure activity.

To become the winner of the second edition of the Crazy Ride Game, the transformed sports car must be very appealing, fun, and have an extra dose of madness. At the end of the first edition, a charity auction was organized in France, and the proceeds were donated to charitable institutions.

Now, in the second edition, Spain will take part with six teams of ten members each. The participants had a budget of 2,000 euros, a car destined for the scrapyard and, above all, plenty of creativity.

On May 26 the Spanish contest final was held. The Modus Operandi group won. Now it will have to face the European rivals at the Le Mans circuit on June 4 and 5.

Proyecto NOA came in second place, while Kangaroo 39000 took third. It is worth noting that the Oca Food Truck team won the award for Staging, Kangaroo 39000 the one for transformation, and Proyecto NOA the one for exterior design. In addition, the prize for the craziest detail crazy went to Los Renegados, and exterior design to Regreso al futuro.
