CUPRA unveils pricing for the limited-edition Formentor VZ Tribe Edition
After being announced at the end of last year, CUPRA is starting sales of the Formentor VZ Tribe Edition, revealing its prices

Heading into the final stretch of 2022, CUPRA announced a new limited edition for its star model, the Formentor, a sporty SUV that has taken the brand to the top and accounts for the largest share of its sales. This limited edition, called Tribe Edition, is finally arriving in Spain, where CUPRA has already announced its prices.
Known as the Tribe Edition, this special limited edition was created as a tribute from the brand to the “tribe of drivers” who now form part of the CUPRA community. It features specific design details both outside and inside, backed by the equipment corresponding to the VZ trim, and the choice of three engines, one of which is a hybrid.

Let’s recall what the Formentor VZ Tribe Edition offers. Starting with the exterior, CUPRA offers the new Cliff Grey colour, exclusive to this version, although if you don’t like it you can also choose the Midnight Black colour. For a contrasting touch there is also the Sport Black Matt finish applied to the front grille, the mirror housings and the 19-inch alloy wheels, while the final detail is the CUPRA lettering in chrome black.

Inside, CUPRA wanted to reinforce the sporty image of the Formentor VZ in this Tribe Edition, choosing black as the main colour. This colour is applied to the upholstery of the sport seats, which combine Dinamica with Alcantara leather, all with contrasting bronze stitching also present on the steering wheel, door panels and dashboard.

Mechanically, the CUPRA Formentor VZ Tribe Edition can be chosen with three engines. The first is the 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine with 245 CV, which sends power to the front axle through a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox. If you want more power, the same engine is also available in a tuned version reaching 310 CV, and in this case you also get four-wheel-drive 4Drive. Alternatively, if you want the ECO label, there is the plug-in hybrid version with 245 CV, offering an electric range of 54 kilometres.
The new CUPRA Formentor VZ Tribe Edition is now available in our country, with prices starting for each engine as follows:
| ENGINE | POWER | PRICE |
|---|---|---|
| 2.0 TSI | 245 CV | 52,333 euros |
| 2.0 TSI 4Drive | 310 CV | 54,673 euros |
| 1.4 e-Hybrid | 245 CV | 52,220 euros |
