Dany Bahar talks about very interesting future projects of Lotus

This week some news had been published that Lotus was facing financial difficulties and that sales were not a bed of roses. For the time being we cannot verify that this is the case; I suppose the situation at Lotus is the same as that of similar European companies in the sector. But at least its CEO, Dany Bahar, is announcing very interesting things for the future.
Bahar gave an exclusive interview in which he talks about the return of the Lotus Seven and about a future project of hybrid vehicles that will leave everyone open-mouthed.
About the return of the iconic Seven he has not said anything definitive for the model, but he has said: “I have been shown some sketches and they look very interesting. The Lotus Seven project has been around for years, but it could certainly be attractive to have it back“.
As for hybrids, Bahar said that Lotus has always been at the forefront of engineering and that “the hybrid technology Lotus will use is very innovative and nobody else has anything similar. Don’t think there will be multiple electric motors, since that idea is already in practice. Just wait and see.”
