Detroit Show 2012: Volkswagen E-Bugster Concept
From the Detroit Auto Show we are getting the first photos of the new Volkswagen E-Bugster Concept

When we talk about the Volkswagen E-Bugster Concept we are talking not only about one of the major novelties that the German brand had prepared for the Detroit Auto Show, but also about one of the most attractive versions based on the new generation of the Volkswagen Beetle
We have to admit that with this vehicle Volkswagen does not only want to preview the features of its future electric models, something this vehicle achieves with ease thanks to a 115-horsepower electric motor capable of making, according to the German brand, the new Beetle accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds or reach a top speed of 180 km/h

Even more curious is the fact that the vehicle is able to offer a range of 180 km or that, when connected to a fast-charging point, we can fully charge its batteries in just 35 minutes. As you can see, these are more than curious figures that, if they become reality, will surely attract more than one buyer.
On the other hand, we cannot overlook its renewed styling, undoubtedly much bolder and more provocative than we might expect from a mere electric concept. Does Volkswagen want to give us some hint of the styling of a much sportier version?
