Do you want the new Honda Civic? This is what you'll have to pay for it...
From March 18, Honda will put on sale the long-awaited 10th generation of its star compact. Its price will start from €20,400.
Honda announces that the long-awaited Civic’s commercialisation in Spain finally begins. The 10th generation of this model will reach the market with a new platform that will make it the largest and most spacious Honda Civic in its history. The renewed compact (if we can still call it that…) features two new efficient turbocharged petrol engines of 1.0 and 1.5 litres, delivering strong performance alongside minimal consumption. Both engines are available with a manual or CVT automatic gearbox.

Prices vary depending on the chosen version. The Confort 1.0 VTEC variant would be available from €20,400, while the SPORT version equipped with the 1.5-litre engine would start from €25,100. In both cases, VAT would be added on top.

When it was launched in 1972, it was considered a simple city car. Today it is one of the largest compacts on the market, almost flirting with the D segment (saloons, MPVs…). This increase in size has been made possible by the new platform (the same one on which the new CR-V is built), which uses high-strength steel, reducing its weight by 16 kg compared to its predecessor. The new model is considerably longer than the current five-door Civic: 15 cm in total. The wheelbase has also been increased, which is especially noticeable in the rear seat room. It also offers 30 mm more width and is 20 mm lower, which improves the car’s dynamic performance.

The interior of the new Civic has a clean layout finished in high-quality materials. In terms of technology, the standout feature is the second generation of the Honda CONNECT infotainment and connectivity system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Japanese brand’s compact also comes with one of the safest packages in its segment, with the Honda SENSING suite standard on every model in the range.
