Dongfeng launches the Dongfeng VIGO on the Spanish market, and this is its price

Dongfeng continues its offensive to make a strong entry into the Spanish market and, to do so, is launching two new electrified models. These are already available at the brand’s 25 dealerships in our country and can be reserved. The two models are the Dongfeng VIGO and the Dongfeng MAGE PHEV, which offer the brand’s technology and know-how for moving with freedom and style.

The Dongfeng VIGO is a battery electric vehicle with a range of up to 340 km under the WLTP cycle, while the Dongfeng MAGE PHEV is a plug-in hybrid, with a range of up to 89 km in electric mode. In total, its range with a full tank and a fully charged battery is 1,200 km.

The new 100% electric vehicle from the Chinese brand belongs to the C segment and has compact, affordable dimensions for getting around both the city and the open road. Let’s look at what motor and battery this model offers, because that is what can bring the buyer closer to the model.

It uses a 120 kW electric motor, that is, 163 CV, and a maximum torque of 230 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 51.87 kWh, which allows it to achieve a range of up to 340 km. This battery can be charged through a fast charger of up to 167 kW, which allows it to reach 80% of its capacity in 18 minutes.

In terms of technology, the Dongfeng VIGO has quite a complete equipment list, including keyless entry, front seats with electric adjustment, and a heated and ventilated driver’s seat with memory function. It also features wireless charging for mobile devices at 50 W, V2L (Vehicle to Load) function of up to 6 kW, and a 360º camera to improve driving safety.

The boot has a capacity of 500 litres, although it can reach 1,040 litres if the rear seats are folded down. It also has 35 storage spaces, which improves capacity and comfort while travelling. The starting price of the Dongfeng VIGO is 29,900 euros, although with the brand’s financing it can be obtained with a monthly payment of 139 euros, with a deposit of 8,090.34 euros and a final payment of 14,815.40 euros.
