Nissan Electric Cars Curiosities
Electric Car Company will build a stretched Nissan Leaf limousine

If all kinds of cars have been converted into limousines in the past, why shouldn’t the Nissan Leaf be able to do it too? A company specializing in converting any vehicle to electric, Electric Car Company, Inc, has announced that it has won the contract to build a Leaf “limo”.
To do so, the Leaf will have to be “stretched” by almost a metre and a half to leave generous room for the six passengers it will be able to carry.
Of course, the Leaf’s range, which is already marginal, drops sharply with the added weight of a stretch. The batteries may be larger than usual, taking advantage of the fact that the Leaf will have considerably more room under the floor to house them, but it remains one of those projects that jump on the bandwagon of the electric car trend.
