Faraday Future FX Super One: the screens also reach the front grille of the next-generation vehicles

Faraday Future believes it is a good idea to use this screen on the front of the vehicle to display all kinds of animations, including animated emoji-style faces that express certain emotions.

Faraday Future is still alive and has surprised everyone with the presentation of a new model, the FX Super One, an electric MPV that aims to revitalize the segment it belongs to. At a public event held in Los Angeles, the company unveiled this new model, which promises to combine space and comfort with the most advanced technology.

Unlike today’s very fashionable SUVs, MPVs offer even more space for passengers and cargo, an advantage Faraday Future wants to take advantage of. In the United States, the offer of electric MPVs is quite limited, with the Volkswagen ID.Buzz as the main reference. Some other manufacturers, however, are preparing their own alternatives, such as the upcoming KIA PV5 or a possible electric Chevrolet Express, not to mention the unbridled luxury proposal that Mercedes-Benz recently showed us.

The FX Super One stands out for its functional design and innovative features. Among all of them, the AI F.A.C.E. system really shines, a set of front LEDs that replace the traditional grille and can display animations like a screen, from ambient designs to emojis expressing emotions. Although this feature is optional and not all prototypes include it, it reflects the company’s intention to integrate Artificial Intelligence functions into everyday life.

Travel in style

Inside, the FX Super One prioritizes comfort, with six- or four-seat configurations. The six-seat version offers wide, reclining seats, with enough space for six adults on long journeys. Meanwhile, the four-seat configuration, named GOAT Edition, aims for an absolutely Premium experience, with more legroom, “zero gravity” seats that include massage, and possible extras such as a pop-up television or a fridge.

Faraday Future has not yet revealed the price of this new MPV, but everything suggests the FX Super One will not exactly be affordable. The company also plans to market a version with a petrol engine, which will act as a range extender. A rather surprising decision, considering Faraday Future has always promoted itself as a fully electric brand.

Following its presentation, the company says it has already recorded more than 10,000 reservations for its new FX Super One MPV. A figure that probably includes orders from other companies for their business fleets. It also states that it is confident it will be able to produce between 100 and 150 units of this new model this same year, although all of them will, in principle, be earmarked for its own employees.
