Fiat 500 will unveil its 120th anniversary special edition

Fiat will unveil its new 500 family at the Geneva Motor Show, featuring a special version celebrating 120 years of the Italian subsidiary.

Fiat 500 “120 Anniversary” will become the brand’s most connected and elegant range. Features close to the idea of connectivity of Fiat, being simple, intuitive and safe.

This anniversary is a historic milestone, as very few car manufacturers have reached that figure. For this reason, Fiat will incorporate this version into its 500, 500X and 500L models.

Fiat 500: 120 Anniversary Edition

This special version features exclusive elements customisable for each model, as well as general features such as the bodywork. This will not be the only novelty the brand will show at the Geneva Motor Show.

Fiat 500 “120 Anniversary”

This iconic car will debut the elegant Tuxedo bodywork (white and black) with a more refined line highlighted by chrome trim on the bonnet and a black roof. It will also feature 16″ alloy wheels finished in copper colour.

Inside, the exclusive striped fabric of the seats and the black strip on the dashboard stand out. Undoubtedly, a complete equipment package including elements such as the upper section in vinyl with the embroidered “500” logo, fog lights, 50/50 split rear seats and personalised floor mats.

Available in saloon and convertible versions, the Fiat 500 “120 Anniversary” offers a choice between a 1.2 engine with 69 CV, a 0.9 TwinAir with 85 CV or the 1.2 LPG with 69 CV.

Fiat 500X “120 Anniversary”

The 500X version also features the Tuxedo bodywork but with two colour combinations available: Pearl Tuxedo (Pearl White and black) and Silver Tuxedo (Silver Grey and black). It also features distinctive black mirror caps and side skirts, along with 16 or 17″ alloy wheels with a dark finish.

The cabin features seats with copper-coloured upholstery that blend perfectly with elements such as the panel strip and the door armrests, both in black. Nevertheless, the Fiat 500X is also spacious in terms of comfort, thanks to standard features such as the parking assist system.

As for engines, this model offers a choice of four different engines, all with five- or six-speed manual gearboxes:

1. 1.0 Firefly Turbo with 120 CV
2. 1.6 E-torq with 110 CV
3. 1.3 Multijet with 95 CV
4. 1.6 Multijet with 120 CV

Fiat 500L “120 Anniversary”

This model family is completed by the 500L, which features the well-known Tuxedo bodywork combined with Myron details on the bumpers and side skirts. As always, accompanied by 17″ two-tone alloy wheels with black details.

Likewise, the interior could be the most elegant of the three models, featuring exclusive seats upholstered in grey fabric and black eco-leather, highlighted by the copper-coloured stitching, the black dashboard strip or the “500” logo.

Finally, in mechanical aspects, buyers can choose between a 1.4 Fire petrol engine with 95 CV and a six-speed manual gearbox, the 1.3 Multijet II turbodiesel with 95 CV and a manual or Dualogic automated gearbox, or the 1.6 Multijet with 120 CV and a manual gearbox.
