Finally: The interior of the Skoda Kodiaq revealed

For several months now we have been keeping an eye on everything we are told about the Skoda Kodiaq, the new SUV that has been revealed bit by bit and will soon be on the market. But news about this off-roader arrives slowly, and we are always waiting for one more snippet that shows us what to expect from this interesting model, which takes its name from a people native to Alaska.
That adventurous spirit is reflected on the outside, there is no doubt about that, but since we will be inside it, sitting behind the wheel, we are eager to know more about the design and equipment of the cabin. And that is precisely what this gallery of images shows us, finally revealing some of the details we will find inside.

The image shows that simplicity and a practical, efficient design are the norm in this car. It is not a vehicle that seeks to compete with the various Premium SUVs that are close to its range in size and build. Its performance, size and robustness can be compared with others such as the Audi Q7, but it will remain in a lower price range, which would undoubtedly work in its favor.
The Kodiaq measures 4.70 metres long and 1.8 metres wide, which allows the interior to be spacious and comfortable for its occupants. Up to seven people can be seated, as the rear has an optional second row of seats. Even so, the boot is quite generous: with the two rear seats folded it reaches 720 litres, and it can reach 2,065 litres with both rows folded.
Looking at the dashboard area, we find a large touchscreen with which we can control the main functions of the infotainment system. The controls remain analogue, offering a simplicity that does not spoil the driving experience. Skoda continues to release information about the Kodiaq little by little, but don’t worry. Soon we will have everything needed to assess this SUV, as it will be presented in Berlin on September 1st.
