First details of the new Toyota Yaris 2012

Here are the first images of the new Toyota Yaris 2012, a model that will arrive in our market at the end of this year 2011 and that receives important changes in terms of design, as well as engines and interior.
The first thing that catches the eye is the exterior, with sharper lines and a more youthful design that breaks with the brand’s previous design language. It retains some features of the Yaris HSD hybrid presented at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, and also receives a new interior with improved materials and a redesign of the controls.
Finally, we know that the engine range will consist of three engines, two petrol and one diesel. The petrol versions will be the 1.0 VVT-i (three-cylinder) and the 1.33 VVT-i Dual (four-cylinder), while the diesel will be the well-known 1.4 D-4D. The power of the three engines has not yet been revealed, but if they keep the current configuration we would be talking about 69 CV and 101 CV (the petrol versions, respectively) and 90 CV (the diesel).
Nor can we forget the hybrid version, the Yaris HSD hybrid, but for this one we will have to wait until the second half of 2012.
