First images of the new Audi A3

Although it wasn’t expected until the next Geneva Motor Show, which will run from 8 to 18 March, the first “serious” images of the new Audi A3 have been published. The gallery shows everything from the interior to the boot, passing through the cabin.
Stylistically, the new A3 bears a strong resemblance to the current generation, suggesting it won’t evolve very much. It keeps typical details such as the grille and the LED headlights, which remind us of both the A1 and the A6.
The interior is where we can see the most changes, which looks simpler than other cars in the same segment. All the on-board systems are controlled through the new-generation MMI system.
This new Audi A3, the first car from the Volkswagen Group to use the transverse modular platform, will initially be offered with two engines: the 1.4 TFSI and the 1.6 TDI. Later, more powerful engines as well as hybrid versions would be added.
Although Audi officially won’t present its new A6 until the Geneva Motor Show, the German brand could release an official photo gallery following this leak. We’ll be keeping an eye out.
