First Maserati MC 12 Versione Corse ready for the road

After winning the first place in the 2005 Manufacturers’ Championship in the GT category, and having been one of the favourites of the FIA GT Championship ever since under the name MC 12 GT1, the car was destined to be homologated for the road.
The first of the 12 units announced for manufacture and sale to the public is currently being auctioned in Germany, with bids so far reaching the sum of 1.45 million euros.
The future owner will take home an overhaul of the 6.0L V12 engine also seen in the Ferrari FXX, which produces 755 CV that is sent to the wheels through a semi-automatic Cambiocorsa gearbox prepared to keep up with the engine’s performance.
In this way the sports car accelerates from 0-100 km in just 3.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 326 km/h.
And as this is an exclusive model, the Italian company offers a plate bearing the identification number of the car, as well as a tracking service for each of the units sold.
The car’s interior receives significant improvements to the dashboard, such as electronic control of the exhaust system, a data logging system, central locking and, finally, upholstery in leather and Alcantara.
We won’t comment on the exterior because the images below speak for themselves.
