First official image of the new Ford Ka revealed

This morning the first photograph of the new Ka generation has appeared online, a model that shares its platform with the Fiat 500. Although without that detail, nobody would probably have guessed it, as the designers have done a great job, and the small Ford model has its own personality.
With this reveal, Ford is expected not to take much longer to release more details about the Ka, although it will leave quite a few details for its public presentation at the Paris Motor Show, in October. For now, Ford claims that the excellent handling reputation of the previous Ka has been carried over to the new one, with the base of the Italian model redesigned.
On the other hand, the Fiat powertrains are speculated to be inherited by the Ford, which adds the rumour that a ST top-of-the-range version will share the 1.4 turbocharged engine of the 500 Abarth, joining the new trend of small performance cars alongside the Twingo RS, for example.
The new Ka will be built alongside its twin, the Fiat 500, at the Polish Tychy plant that Fiat has. It is expected to go on sale early next year.
