Fisker Pear: first details of the long-awaited 100% electric city car from the American firm

Following the brief preview Fisker itself released last March of its new Pear, a small compact with an urban focus that already boasted more than 1,500 reservations without even having been shown, the revived American brand led by Danish designer Henrik Fisker has just published the first official image of this long-awaited launch.

With all this, this Fisker Pear will position itself as the little brother of the Fisker Ocean, a fully electric SUV that arrived in Europe at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ready to go head-to-head with its European rivals.

Staying on topic, the announcement was made through the Instagram account of the aforementioned Henrik Fisker, who, with a teaser image showing the front of this new model, has given us a preview of its overall look, which bears considerable similarities to the Fisker Ocean.

At a very attractive price

Alongside the published image, it has been announced that this EV will go on sale from a starting price below 29,900 dollars, which would make it a genuinely competitive option against its rivals, especially in the European market, since according to the brand they are working at full speed to develop an affordable vehicle, reducing and simplifying its components while adding technology and unique features.

Under the name Pear (Personal Electric Automotive Revolution), the new electric car will feature sharp LED lighting units, the Pear name illuminated on the upper part of its front grille, together with a fairly clean bumper design with a larger air intake grille.

For now, according to the brand’s plans, production of the new Fisker Pear will begin at the end of 2023, so that the first units reaching dealerships will arrive throughout 2024. That said, we will have to wait and see whether these timelines are actually met and whether it will truly be as competitive a product as it appears.
