Fisker Surf Shooting Brake Concept production version at the Paris Motor Show
Fisker is preparing the production version of the Fisker Surf Shooting Brake for September, at the Paris Motor Show.

The Fisker Surf Shooting Brake Concept made its debut last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, ending up similar to the Fisker Karma, as it uses the same rear electric motors, although at the front they have fitted a two-litre petrol engine to act as a generator.
Aesthetically, the shooting brake character is evident, since although the Surf is exactly the same as the Karma at the nose and up to the central pillar, the rear is unmistakable. Even so, it still looks similar to the Karma, since with the exception of the opening fifth door, the rear takes many details from the Karma. The difference is the generous cargo space behind the seats.

The Fisker Shooting Brake is expected to make its production model debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. Production of the model would start at the Valmet plant in Finland, the same site where the Fisker Karma is built. Fisker expects the Surf to sell around 3,500 units a year, but not as many as the Karma, for which 7,000 vehicles per year are expected.
Fisker will add this model to its range at the end of 2012 or the beginning of next year. Fisker also has a third model in the works for early next year, reportedly in March, when the hardtop convertible will arrive, a model that will make its official debut as a concept at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
