Five curiosities about the new Range Rover Sport

The new Range Rover Sport 2023 has just arrived, and we tell you five curiosities that will make you want it with all your might.

The new Range Rover Sport has just arrived and has already shaken up the landscape. The third generation of one of the quintessential luxury sports SUVs arrives with a very clear goal: to set the benchmark in its segment. Let’s take a look at what makes the new Range Rover Sport 2023 so special.

One of its main features is its proportionality. Gerry McGovern, creative director of Jaguar Land Rover, wanted the new generation to have a “progressive, modern and sophisticated” design. The front of the new Sport features a narrower grille flanked by LED light units placed above the lower bumper, which has a horizontal element in body colour.

The height of the headlights has also been lowered and they have been stretched towards the grille. These elements give the new Range Rover Sport a more imposing, wide and robust front end. The rear has also been updated and now features horizontal light units. The side, meanwhile, is very attractive, with elements such as the two-tone roof paint.

Another highlight of the luxury SUV is found in the interior, as the brand has opted for vegan, recycled and sustainable materials. The driving position, as the manufacturer has described it, is like “a racing car for an enjoyable dynamic driving experience”. Furthermore, “the car is connected to the road” and everything is within the driver’s reach.

The curved 13.1-inch infotainment screen stands out, which avoids reflections and is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, the instrument cluster also features a 13.7-inch screen. As for engines, the new model will be available with two electric-hybrid Ingenium petrol and diesel six-cylinder mild-hybrid engines and a version with a twin-turbo V8.

As the brand’s representatives have confirmed, this is the “most dynamic and capable generation”. The new Range Rover Sport 2023 is based on the flexible MLA platform of Land Rover and features the Dynamic Response Pro system, Adaptive Dynamics 2 technology, Terrain Response 2 system and four-wheel steering.
