Ford 2018 Mustang Convertible revealed in pictures
The 2018 Mustang convertible receives the same updates as the coupe version.
Ford has unveiled the final image of the 2018 Mustang convertible. This model offers the same updates that Ford debuted on the coupe version a few days ago. Mass production of the Mustang Convertible and Coupe will take place in autumn 2017.

The 2018 Mustang convertible will offer the same optimised powertrains as the coupe version: a 2.3-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost or the traditional 5.0-litre V8. Both engines can be paired with the 10-speed automatic gearbox developed by General Motors.
In terms of styling, the 2018 Mustang Convertible shares the same design as the coupe version: a restyled front end, angled headlights and a new grille shape. This Mustang features a new cluster of digital gauges, an active exhaust that personalises the sound, MagneticRide suspension and a range of safety assistants such as Pre-Collision Assist. Although its suspension is the same, the Mustang Convertible has received a series of adjustments that differentiate it from the coupe version, according to a spokesperson for Ford.

The Mustang Convertible’s roof takes ten seconds to lower fully, at a maximum speed of 10 km/h. This mechanism has not received any changes compared with the 2017 model.
