Ford Almussafes will cancel Focus production in a few days

Just as Ford Spain had anticipated, the Ford Focus built at the Almussafes plant will make way for other models, probably from 21 or 22 July of this month. The Ford plant will continue building the Fiesta and C-Max models throughout this year.
The last Focus units will be built after the local festivities long weekend. Once production of the Focus ends at Almussafes, production of that model will move to the German plant in Saarlouis.
As for the other models that will remain in production at the Valencian plant, these are the Fiesta and the C-Max. Next year, the hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of the five-seat C-Max will begin production. At a date yet to be determined, the Kuga and the Transit Connect will be added to production at Almussafes.
