Ford EcoSport: limited edition of 30 units

The 30 units of this special EcoSport series were reserved in no time, a promotion that Ford has released on the Spanish market. This promotion has been launched only for the 1.5-litre diesel engine with 90 horsepower and for the “small” member of the family, the 1.0-litre EcoBoost with 125 CV, with front-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual gearbox.

This limited version comes with equipment that is more complete than usual for this variant. From an aesthetic point of view, the difference with other EcoSport models is the addition of a badge on the spare wheel cover and on the 17-inch alloy wheels.

As we said, equipment is the strong point of this limited edition. It includes 7 airbags, electronic stability control (ESP), fog lights, electrochromic interior rear-view mirror, rear parking sensor, keyless entry and push-button start, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, air conditioning, light and rain sensor, leather upholstery, an emergency call system in the event of an accident, a CD/MP3 radio with a 3.5-inch display, and Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones with voice control and smartphone apps.

This edition is only offered in three colours (orange, black and white), and the reservation system is handled through the Ford EcoSport website. A quick search allowed us to confirm that the edition is already sold out, at a sale price of 19,500 euros. Perhaps Ford will release some more units in the future?
