Ford reveals special edition, Transit SportVan

The American manufacturer wishes to celebrate the success of the Transit in the United Kingdom over 45 years on the market by introducing a special edition called Ford Transit SportVan.

As you can imagine, the car takes as its basis one of the most popular versions of the van, so the Transit 260 receives interesting upgrades in terms of mechanics and looks.

The car will be equipped with a 2.2l TDCi 140 CV engine, whose power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed transmission system. In addition, it incorporates a new exhaust system.

The exterior is characterised not only by its red paint with white stripes; also standing out are the lower front and rear spoilers, side skirts, windscreen wipers with rain sensors, 18-inch wheels, high-performance tyres and fog lights.

The interior impresses with high-quality elements, among which the air conditioning, multimedia system, perimeter alarm and protection kit for the cargo area stand out.

Additionally, as optional extras you can choose daytime running lights, satellite navigation with a colour screen and leather seats.

Only 100 units of the Ford Transit SportVan will be sold in the United Kingdom at a price of 25,880 euros.
