Four Renault Mégane RS cars decorated in tribute to the Formula 1 involvement

Unless a friend or a lucky acquaintance got one of the 150 Mégane RS F1 Team cars back when Fernando Alonso was Formula 1 champion, and during his return to Renault in 2008, these special series have passed by without making much noise, if not going almost unnoticed.

Renault is back in the overalls and helmet and unveils four Mégane RS models, painted in the colours of the teams in which Renault is directly involved this year: Red-Bull, Lotus, Williams and Caterham.

The four models are purely commemorative, and there will be no editions for sale, according to what the French company has announced. The aim of this special edition is to maintain the commitment to bringing the technology it develops in competition to road cars.

Which one do you like best? I’d go for the Williams and Lotus models; I wouldn’t want a giant Red-Bull logo stuck on the car, and I think Caterham got it wrong with the yellow wheels.
