General Motors must get rid of Opel, Wall Street says
An analyst at one of the most prestigious financial firms on Wall Street has advised General Motors to get rid of Opel “as soon as possible”.

In case things weren’t already heated enough between General Motors and Opel, more voices now join in against Opel, and from none other than the heart of the world’s money empire, Wall Street. One of the analysts at the prestigious Morgan Stanley has “advised” General Motors to get rid of Opel as soon as possible.
The analyst draws deeply catastrophic conclusions if General Motors keeps flying the flag of the German brand Opel. The outlook does not suggest that GM will stop the losses on Opel in the near future, so it is considered a cause that is practically lost.
If GM decides to sell Opel, it won’t come cheap. The operation would cost about 13 million dollars (less than the estimated losses over the next ten years if it kept Opel), counting restructuring costs, the expenses of the sale itself and the compensation owed to the Opel staff who would be laid off, among other things.
I think that with opinions as “convincing” as this one, and coming from none other than Wall Street, Americans must already be seriously reconsidering.
