Geneva Show 2009: Ruf Greenster, the electric Porsche 911 Targa

The tuner Ruf has presented a unique version of the Porsche 911 at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The Ruf Greenster concept is a Porsche 911 Targa with some changes to its exterior styling and a high-performance electric motor.
From the outside, the standout features are the retro look reminiscent of the 1970s and its Targa-style removable roof, which undoubtedly make it quite exclusive. But design is not the only important aspect of the Greenster: under the bonnet it features the latest electric technology. The EDrive system recovers energy to power an electric motor producing 367 CV and 900 Nm of torque, which outperforms the Boxer’s V6 engine.
The Ruf Greenster goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. Ruf will build a limited number of Greenster models in 2010.
