In February 2013, the first Renault Captur rolled off the assembly line at the Valladolid plant. Three years have passed since then, and this small crossover has become one of the favourites among all those on the market. Today, after all this time, the 750,000th Captur has rolled off the line, a figure that proves the good health of this model, which has become the leader in its segment and one of the fastest-growing in Europe.

This unit has left the factory to travel to Florence, where its buyer, a professional working in the design world, is waiting for it. The 750,000th Captur is a Captur Energy dCi 110 EDC with ZEN trim. Its bodywork features a two-tone treatment, in Rojo Deseo with a black roof. Interestingly, this type of bodywork is the preferred choice of buyers of this Spanish-built model, as 80% of those sold feature this combination.

Sales of the Renault Captur are growing all over the world, and this model is now present in more than 70 countries, among which, outside Europe, the Korean and Chinese markets stand out. The Captur, like other models produced at the Renault plant in Valladolid, is manufactured entirely across the two plants, since the engines also come from the Renault plant in the same city.

This number of Renault Captur models confirms that the work of the Valladolid plant is highly valued worldwide, where the cars rolling off this assembly line are being delivered. The director of both plants was personally present at the exit of the assembly line for this very special unit.
