Gronos 2021, Mansory's take on the Mercedes-AMG G63
The German tuner has worked on the Mercedes-AMG G63 to create a more attractive and powerful version of the model, with changes and only 10 units.

In 2013 Mansory dared to modify the Mercedes-AMG G63 and created the Gronos. This version transformed the model, improving the characteristics of the off-roader and elevating its category. After some time, and taking advantage of the fact that a new generation of the base model has been launched, in 2021 they carried out a new project on this new generation of the model.
The Gronos 2021 has been presented based on the current Mercedes-AMG, and this has been reworked to offer an interesting model that, as in the previous case, considerably improves on the original G63. One of the main improvements focuses on the engine, where several parts have been modified to increase its power.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 features a 4.0-litre V8 engine that delivers 577 CV and a maximum torque of 850 Nm, but Mansory has changed the turbos, the downpipes, the exhaust system and has adjusted the software that manages its performance. With all this, power rises to 838 CV and maximum torque to 1,000 Nm, a considerable increase.

GRONOS 2021
As for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, it stands at 3.5 seconds, one second less than the production model. Top speed is rated at 220 km/h, which can rise to 250 km/h if the AMG Driver’s Pack is added.
The changes are not limited to the mechanics, as they are also visible on the exterior. The wheel arches have been widened, making the look more aggressive and powerful. The bonnet, bumpers, roof accessories, spare wheel holder and other parts are made of carbon fibre. In addition, extra LED lights have been fitted at the front, 24-inch wheels fitted with 295/30 tyres, redesigned exhaust pipes, and bodywork painted in British Racing Green completes the difference.
Inside, the choice has been brown leather upholstery, which is present throughout the cabin and even in the rear cargo compartment. The logo appears in several places to mark that difference in appearance. And now for the interesting part: how much will this Mercedes-AMG G63 variant by Mansory cost?
Only 10 units of the Gronos 2021 will be built, and it will have a price of 560,163 euros. That is, about 400,000 euros more than the model it is based on. A luxury within reach of very few, but which those lucky enough to own one will surely enjoy to the full in one of the most attractive off-roaders on the market.
