Hennessey takes on the McLaren MP4-12C
Hennessey presents the project they will soon unveil based on the McLaren MP4-12C

Did you really not see it coming? With a vehicle on the market like the new McLaren MP4-12C, it would have been strange if many more projects based on this peculiar English supercar had not been presented. Even so, there are surely many who already have it in their sights, so it’s just a matter of time.
What I want to present to you today is the project the engineers at Hennessey are working on, a project in which they will seek to adapt their HPE800 Twin-Turbo package to the excellent McLaren MP4-12C, with everything that entails, that is, for example, a maximum output of 800 horsepower.
As you can see in the images, this new project stands out mainly for a monstrous aerodynamic kit consisting of brand-new bumpers, much larger and specially designed air intakes, and a really impressive rear diffuser inspired by the competition model.
Mechanically, we find a huge 3.8-litre V8 whose output has been raised to exactly 811 horsepower, an increase of more than 200 horsepower over the standard version. As is logical, the suspension and braking system are greatly reinforced.
