Honda Accord Type S 180 CV, special road test in France

Taking advantage of the Geneva Motor Show 2011, we travelled to Switzerland with a vehicle we were eager to get behind the wheel of: the Honda Accord Type S with the 180 CV diesel engine. A few months ago we attended its presentation and now, taking advantage of this trip to cover the novelties of the Show, we wanted to carry out a more complete test of this fast diesel saloon.
Throughout the week we will be telling you how this Accord Type S behaves, for now we can tell you that on the motorway journey from Spain to France we liked its behaviour and, above all, its power and comfort. But the real test will come in the coming days, when we leave the motorways and cover some 600 km on French national roads.
These days we have also tried it in the city, in Geneva, where we found it to be an agile car despite its dimensions, and we also liked the tuning of the suspension, as it is firm yet absorbs road irregularities quite well. In the coming days we will talk about the Honda, its behaviour, and we will also conclude this special test with our usual three sections (Engine, design and prices, equipment and overall assessment of the model).
