Lancia, a brand that in recent months has unveiled genuinely interesting novelties and that at the Geneva Motor Show is clearly going all in. Now, what awaits us at its stand?

Perhaps one of the most eye-catching novelties on the stand is the Ypsilon, yes, the Ypsilon, and I say this model because it is the only one on display that truly features Italian design as well as very carefully crafted finish and details, something that is certainly to be thanked to a brand like Lancia.

On the other hand, let’s get to the heart of the matter: what about the new Flavia and Thema? Basically more of the same. Unfortunately, the Flavia on display, known as the 200C in the United States, stands out precisely for what it is: an American vehicle, with all that entails. Lacking a proper road test to confirm otherwise, we are left with shortcomings above all in the form of hard plastics and poorer finish in its trim levels.

As for the Thema, this time a Chrysler 300 in every sense, the exact opposite of the Flavia applies, since this one has genuinely surprised us with its interior and really quality finishes.

As a detail, it’s worth noting that all the converted Chrysler will feature an analogue clock with the Italian manufacturer’s logo placed in the middle of the centre console. A nice touch that in no way hides Fiat’s plans for marketing Chrysler vehicles bearing the Lancia logo.
