Hyundai i20 2020: this is the new version of the compact city car for next year
The new Hyundai i20 2020 will be presented at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, featuring a small facelift that brings a more dynamic look to the design

2020 brings new developments for the models already on the market. Such is the case of the Hyundai i20, which will receive a comprehensive facelift, to be unveiled in its final form at the Geneva Motor Show. It will also be the first car of this model to use the “Sensuous Sportiness” design language, which is already present in other models from the South Korean brand.
With this design, of which we can see two concept images, the small city car will achieve a more dynamic and sporty style, like other cars in the Hyundai lineup. At the front we find a cascading grille that extends to the sides and occupies the full width of the front end. The front bumper has a split diffuser, as does the rear.

The headlights span the width of the car and feature a light signature that is meant to be completely recognisable. A side line has been added that aims to convey the sportier, more dynamic image of the car. At the rear, the sporty line is also emphasised through the light clusters, placed horizontally and connected to the larger rear window.
We have no images of the interior, but some of the details that can be found in the cabin have been revealed. The dashboard design is horizontal and has been worked to conceal the air vents. Technology is present in the instrument cluster, which is combined with the central multimedia screen, creating a very pleasant, practical and fully integrated unit. Both screens measure 10.25 inches, so they can be easily viewed and operated.
It will still be a little while before we can see this new version of the Hyundai i20 in full, but the 2020 Geneva Motor Show opens its doors in a few weeks, so these sketches will become reality very soon.
