Hyundai IONIQ 9 Electric Cars SUV
Hyundai publishes prices and equipment for the new IONIQ 9 in Spain
Hyundai begins sales of its new electric SUV in Spain, the IONIQ 9, in six- or seven-seat configuration

Hyundai confirmed the expansion of its electric vehicle family with the new IONIQ 9, an SUV that will be available in both six-seat and seven-seat configurations, therefore aimed mainly at families looking for a fully electric SUV for getting around the city as well as for longer trips, something that can be tailored to use thanks to the availability of three powertrain configurations.
Let us recall that the Hyundai IONIQ 9 is designed on the basis of the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), and is therefore also present in other models from both KIA and Genesis. Its design, based on the SEVEN concept car the brand presented some years ago, gives us a bulky electric SUV that draws attention especially from its front and its Parametric Pixel technology and which, despite its size, has a drag coefficient Cd of 0.259.

For its interior, the wheelbase of 3,130 mm is especially exploited to provide great roominess for all occupants, which together with the minimalist design typical of electric cars makes it look even larger. Furthermore, Hyundai has not spared on quality materials and upholstery to add a touch of luxury, all without forgetting a generous technology package, as we will see below.

The first trim level, and therefore the entry point to the range, is called Star and is available with the smallest powertrain of 218 CV and rear-wheel drive in the seven-seat version. It already includes a comprehensive standard equipment list with items such as the following:

The third trim level is the top one, and therefore the highest, for the seven-seat version with the most powerful 435 CV powertrain and all-wheel drive, called Ecalligraphy, adding to everything above items such as the following:
- 21-inch alloy wheels

If the six-seat version is chosen, it will only be available with the most powerful 435 CV powertrain and all-wheel drive, and can be specified in the Ecalligraphy 360 or Ecalligraphy Relax trims, which include practically the same equipment, except that one or the other includes items such as the Head-Up Display in the Ecalligraphy 360 or the relax leg rest for the second-row seats in the Ecalligraphy Relax. The price will be the same for both, and you can choose more technology or more comfort equipment between the two.
Therefore, the prices of the new Hyundai IONIQ 9 for Spain are set out as follows, without taking into account any type of discount:
