Infiniti A-RT, a futuristic concept to enjoy from 2050 onwards
Designer Won Choi has created this original concept model for the Infiniti brand, imagining what electric cars will be like in the year 2050, and it is surprising

Car designers tend to fantasise about what awaits us in the automotive world in the coming decades. They tend to play with current technology and trends, but getting ahead of their time and taking it to a future era that allows all of that to be adapted to a futuristic image. Designer Won Choi has produced one of these anticipatory works and has shown us what we can expect from a vehicle designed for leisure time, with a fairly powerful image and performance.
The car in question is the Infiniti A-RT, which broadly means All-Road Tourer. It would be a car designed for leisure time, with fully electric traction and level 5 autonomous driving capabilities. But the real highlight of this crossover is its exterior design.

The designer has opted for a concave-shaped windscreen, meaning it protrudes above the bonnet, creating a kind of dome that looks curious on a car. This concave windscreen design is something not seen on a production vehicle and could be problematic in terms of visibility, but let us remember that we are looking at a car that will be ready for the year 2050 and that is, theoretically, prepared for level 5 autonomous driving.
Another interesting proposal of this Infiniti A-RT is the lighting design. These offer an original look and a placement that, although belonging to a futuristic car that we will never see on the market, could be adapted for future models of the brand. We know nothing about the interior, but given the car’s image we can imagine a fairly clean space, with one or more interactive screens controlling the various driving systems and a dashboard free of a steering wheel or, at the very least, with a wheel designed to be retractable, leaving the driver freer during the journey.
Despite the images, the dimensions of this concept model are modest and come to 4,700 mm long and 2,040 mm wide, so it results in an attractive car, large without being excessive, and a whole proposition for the Japanese brand. And it should come as no surprise if some of the elements found on this car end up being part of those models with which Infiniti intends to surprise us in a future much closer than the year 2050.
