Infiniti celebrates its fifth anniversary in Spain

madrid

On 1 October 2008, the first Infiniti Centre in Spain opened in the city of Madrid. Besides being the first Spanish centre for Infiniti, it was also the first in Western Europe, alongside other markets such as Switzerland, Italy and France. After the Madrid Infiniti Centre, the Barcelona and Valencia centres opened.

Later, the centres in Seville, Bilbao and Andorra followed, ushering in a third phase of national coverage that has led to the opening of many more centres in various locations across Spain.

The FX model, the brand’s icon, remains the most recognised and best-selling, both in Spain and across Europe. With engine options of 4, 6 and 8 cylinders, diesel and petrol powertrains, and the recently unveiled Q30, its new compact model that will also arrive in Spain, the Japanese brand is celebrating five years in our country with great optimism.

Jorge Belzunce, managing director of Infiniti, has stated that he is satisfied with the brand’s establishment in Spain and, above all, with its positioning.

Despite the difficult moments that accompanied its launch in our country, customers recognise the brand’s exclusive design, its advanced technology and its quality. Looking to the future, we are more excited than ever about the new Q50 and such important developments as the Q30, and many more that we will unveil in the coming years.
