Irmscher takes an interest in the Opel Astra GTC

Not yet on the market, but Irmscher once again could not wait and has just presented the first sketches of its project for the latest model Opel to arrive on the market, the Astra GTC, a three-door compact that, as you well know, especially if you are interested in getting one in the short term, will be presented to the public in a few weeks at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

As you can see, once again, the project presented by Irmscher is based above all on a complete body kit consisting of a front spoiler, side skirts, a much more aggressive diffuser, new exhaust outlets, a rear spoiler…

As could not be otherwise, the German tuner has placed at your disposal its huge catalogue of wheels, made up of a good number of designs available in several sizes, as well as a much firmer and lower sports suspension. As for the wheels in the sketches, it is worth noting that they are a design in 21-inch , mounted, according to Irmscher itself, on tyres 245 mm wide.

Mechanically, Irmscher tells us of a small project, for now only available for the 1.6-litre turbo version, which in standard form produces 180 hp, a version that, thanks to certain modifications to the exhaust, ECU and intercooler, will increase its power to 220 hp and 274 Nm of maximum torque.
