It will be possible to pay Traffic fees via the Internet

The DGT has announced that it will be possible to pay the fees for all those services that Traffic offers via the Internet. Access to this service will be made from the Electronic Fee Payment website of the DGT site.
There are several requirements to meet in order to pay the fees: you must have an electronic DNI, and be the holder or an authorised user of a credit or debit card with sufficient funds to complete the transaction. The service is free of charge and will not involve any additional charge.
Once the payment has been made, we can obtain three different types of receipts. The first is downloading the receipt in PDF format, the second is obtaining the proof of payment with the Full Reference Number (NRC), and the last option is sending the fee stickers acquired to the applicant’s email. It will also be possible to consult and print previously paid fees; simply by entering the DNI or the NRC we can access this information.
The DGT mentions the four main advantages of this payment method. Convenience is the most important, since there will be no need to travel to a Traffic office. The system will be of voluntary use, as the option of going to a Traffic office or a bank to make the payment will remain in force. Payment may also be made from a current account if you do not have a credit or debit card, and only the holder of the account will be authorised to make payments, with an electronic signature required in all cases.
