It's almost a reality: Zeekr prepares its landing in Europe
The Chinese brand, which is owned by Geely, is preparing its arrival in the European market with the first model it wants to sell in Europe, the Zeekr 001.

Not long ago we were talking about the Zeekr 009 Minivan, an MPV with an electric powertrain that is being sold in China and that offers a range close to 1,000 kilometres. At that time we said this model could reach Europe in a relatively short time. That possibility may have increased, since from the Asian country they announce that Zeekr is considering the opportunity to launch its models in Europe.
The brand belongs to the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group conglomerate, which we know simply as Geely and which also owns brands such as Volvo and Polestar, among others. Therefore, the development and design of Zeekr models is aimed at European buyers.

Zeekr is, therefore, an electric car brand already sold in the Asian country, but with its sights set on the European market. Another market where they want to land in a short time is the American one, so they have worked to ensure that the cars coming off the production lines are suitable for both continents.
The first car from the brand to arrive in Europe will be the Zeekr 001, an electric car that combines the style of a crossover with the space of an estate. However, the Chinese company has not revealed sales expectations for this model. Nor has it announced whether it plans to manufacture this model outside China.
This model is being offered in China at a price equivalent to about 41,000 euros, and sales recorded during 2021 were around 39,474 units. By comparison, the Tesla Model Y sold 219,112 units in the same period in the country. The price of the American model is 40,000 euros.
The Zeekr 009 Minivan is the brand’s latest proposal and one that has drawn attention in Europe. This is one of the candidates to reach the various European markets after the arrival of the first model on sale.
