Jaecoo, the Chinese off-road brand, arrives in Spain on September 17

The Jaecoo 7 is already available in Spain, although the official presentation will take place on September 17 at the Puy Du Fou park in Toledo.

Chinese brands continue working to position themselves in the European market and offer models that can go head-to-head with European cars on their own turf. The Grupo Chery is one of those brands, and they intend to showcase their brands in Europe. One of them, Jaecoo, is coming to our country and will arrive on September 17, presented in a unique setting: the Puy du Fou theme park, based on Spanish history and located in Toledo.

Many personalities from the motoring world have been invited to the event, along with content creators, in order to showcase the features of these vehicles. As off-roaders, the Jaecoo vehicles aim to demonstrate their worth on difficult terrain and their ability to venture into places where others cannot.

The company’s slogan is “From Classic, Beyond Classic“, which reflects the company’s intention to update the classic concepts of off-road vehicles and take them a step further. The brand’s foundations are adventure, design and sustainability, which are present in each of the models they will present once they are established in the Spanish market.

Jaecoo has set up a network of 60 dealerships in Spain and a logistics center at the port of Barcelona, with a spare parts center in Azuqueca de Henares, in Guadalajara. The distribution of the first vehicles to these sales points has already begun, and everything is ready for the brand’s official launch in Spain.

The first Jaecoo model in Spain will be the

Jaecoo 7

, an off-roader that offers smooth and efficient behavior on asphalt, but also the capabilities needed to enjoy journeys over difficult terrain. It is a mid-size SUV, measuring 4.50 meters in length, 1.86 meters in width and 1.68 meters in height.

In addition to the version with front-wheel drive, there is a version with all-wheel drive, the most adventurous in the range, which features seven driving modes. Among these are specific programs for driving on snow, mud and sand. There are also other driving modes called Sport, Normal and ECO, which optimize the settings for any need the driver may have.

To reserve a Jaecoo 7, a deposit of 600 euros must be paid, which will be deducted from the final sale price.
