Jaguar has unveiled the first image (or rather a render) of the new Jaguar XJ. The flagship of Jaguar has undergone quite a significant update, and its exterior design will now borrow some traits from the Jaguar XF, especially at the front.

In the first image, it can be seen that it has undergone major changes to the front and rear design, as well as a glass panoramic roof, something not available on the current model. After the jump, you can see the various recreations that AutoExpress has made of the new XJ.

The new Jaguar XJ will be presented on July 9, as Jaguar announced from the Shanghai Motor Show. As a mechanical novelty, the new V6 diesel engine will also arrive. And as the brand has highlighted, the new Jaguar XJ will feature technology derived from the aerospace sector in its construction.
