Kia is strengthening its product range to boost sales in Spain

It will take advantage of the recent launch of new products, roll out 4 new models and update some models in its range to reach sales of 65,000 units in 2026

After a fairly flat and stable year compared with 2024 (-1%), the brand plans to bounce back in sales with a major product offensive, focusing on the new electric van business (PV5), technology, competitiveness and the new regulatory framework, but without competing on price with the new players that have entered the Spanish market.

It will take advantage of the momentum of the newly arrived models, EV4 Hatchback and Fastback, the new Sportage, the new Stonic and the PV5 Cargo and Passenger; together with the new additions arriving in 2026, with the EV5, K4, Seltos and EV2 joining the range.

In addition, Kia was the third brand in the electric car sales ranking, with 6,586 units, driven by the EV3 in its first full year on the market, which added 5,546 registrations and became the third best-selling EV in Spain and the most successful affordable electric model in our country.

Updated range

The brand expects to keep growing to reach 65,000 units, a 15% increase on the previous year. Kia will offer a renewed line-up to compete in the highest-volume segments, with the Stonic, Sportage, Niro, Seltos and K4. It will also offer a complete hybrid range accounting for 32% of sales, and an EV range with models in every segment, made up of the EV2, EV3, EV4 (saloon and hatchback), EV5, EV6 and EV9, plus the PV5 in its different versions. Kia expects to multiply its electric sales again this year, which rose from 2,668 registrations in 2024 to 6,586 units in 2025, with a forecast that, together with the PHEVs, will account for 20% of the brand’s sales in 2026.
