Kode57, the supercar designed by Ken Okuyama
Kode57
The renowned Japanese designer Ken Okuyama, who also took part in the designs of cars such as the Ferrari Enzo, Maserati Quattroporte, Ferrari 599, Ferrari Rossa, Maserati Birdcage 75th and the Ferrari P4/5, presents his latest creation. It is the Kode57, a unique supercar which, due to its exterior features, recalls the Ferrari Enzo. Its name is a tribute to the year 1957, when many legendary cars were born.
The aerodynamic work is evident in the flowing lines of its bodywork. The frameless windscreen, which meets the side windows, recalls the most classic convertibles. This two-seater roadster has a sporty cabin in which all the information is displayed on two analogue clocks and a colour digital screen placed in the centre of the dashboard. It is minimalist, so all attention is focused on driving.

The seats are upholstered in ultra-suede leather (Toray) electrically adjustable, with air conditioning and an adjustable steering wheel that add comfort and allow the driver to find their ideal driving position. A very striking detail that gives it a very sporty and elegant appearance is the scissor doors. Completing the set are the 21″ wheels on the front and 22″ wheels on the rear.
In its manufacture, much of the Kode57’s bodywork uses carbon fibre. To propel the supercar, a naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 620 CV is used, positioned behind the front axle, coupled to a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox. If the customer wishes, Novitec will raise that power up to 702 CV.
This beauty was hand-assembled at the Ken Okuyama Yamagata factory using precision quality control methods. In the following video you can hear the sound of the powerful engine as well as the sporty and aerodynamic lines of this supercar.
