KTM has great plans for the future regarding the X-Bow.
KTM has a new X-Bow model in its plans and possibly the start of its sporting foray into the World Endurance Championship.

Time to talk about the X-Bow from KTM, a model that at the time we all liked but which KTM has only managed to crystallise with few sales compared with Caterham or Donkervoort; if the public has second thoughts about buying a road car, imagine this two-seater which may not be very good-looking but has a very clear goal in mind: racing. Perhaps it is not the X-Bow’s time, but KTM has news in store for 2013.
One of the novelties is that next year we will have a new model on sale from KTM, although this new X-Bow will be more civilised than its predecessors and more customisable; it will have a windscreen and a removable roof, and for the first time it will be fitted with doors.
KTM also plans to invest in motorsport. The Austrian manufacturer has set its sights on endurance racing, more precisely the LMP2 class. Taking part in races could give the brand a breath of fresh air, if it can field its prototype with a Audi two-litre, five-cylinder engine, the same engine that powers its X-Bow TT-RS.
On the other hand, it seems that plans are in place to produce a range of vehicles that would bear no relation whatsoever to what KTM has done in recent years. The new models would be announced for 2013, which will be a year full of news from this Austrian brand.
