Kymco Agility City PLUS: new design with more power for a bestseller

The Kymco Agility City is a scooter-type motorcycle from the Taiwanese brand Kymco, launched on the market in 2009. This vehicle is ideal for getting around the city thanks to its agility and easy handling. The 125 high-wheel model introduces a new version, the Kymco Agility City PLUS, in order to maintain its position in the market as one of the most in-demand scooters in Spain in terms of value for money.

One of the greatest benefits of the Kymco is its ability to move easily around the city. Its compact design allows it to slip easily through traffic, and its maneuverability makes it ideal for parking in tight spaces.

In 2020, Kymco was the sales leader in Spain within its category with 5,703 sales, 6,793 in 2019, 7,071 in 2016 and 5,825 units in 2015, according to a company report.

In 2016 a version compliant with low-emission type approval was already presented, and in 2020 they launched a restyling. With regard to the new Euro 5 emissions standard, this model’s engine fully meets the requirements. It has a 7-litre fuel tank with a consumption of 2.4 litres per 100 km, which translates into a range of more than 290 km.

A PLUS with a new engine

The Kymco Agility City PLUS debuts a more powerful engine to improve performance and response. It is a single-cylinder 125cc four-stroke engine; however, its power increases from 9 CV at 7,500 rpm to 10.61 CV at 8,500 rpm, presenting itself as an urban engine with better response.

Its electronic fuel injection system guarantees efficient fuel consumption, which makes it an economical and sustainable motorcycle. In addition, it features a CBS braking system which, unlike ABS, automates the intensity and distribution of braking, saving the rider that work.

The new PLUS version features a digital instrument panel, which gives the rider a clear and precise reading of speed, fuel level and other important riding parameters. It also has a electronic ignition system, which makes starting the motorcycle easier and eliminates the need for keys.

New design and 16-inch wheel

As for its design, it features a 16-inch front wheel with aerodynamic lines in silver tones. It has ample storage space under the seat, offering greater comfort and plenty of room to store a helmet or any object we need to carry.

The new model is available at Kymco dealerships in three body colour options, blue, brown and white. All models feature two-tone seats and its price is only €2,399 including registration.
