This is the MG Cyberster, the sports car from the brand that is coming to Europe

We have been hearing and reading things about the MG Cyberster for a while now, the sports car from the brand that was reluctant to show itself. And finally, we have been able to see it. The images coming from the version intended for the Chinese market show us a classic-style sports car. Up to now, the MG line was based on launching affordable models, and from now on also passionate cars that will let you enjoy driving.

Here we see the final version of the model, and we can anticipate what the model reaching the European market will be like. What we see in these images is a car with contained dimensions, measuring 4.53 metres long, 1.91 metres wide and 1.33 metres high.

Another thing that catches the eye is the fabric soft top, fitted to this electric sports car. It has a very sharp nose that joins a raked windscreen that emphasises the importance of the cabin. The rear shows a light cluster shaped like an arrow and an air diffuser with several aerodynamic channels. A line of LED lights is also present at the rear, lending its light signature to the car’s image.

In China it will be sold in two versions, with two different engine configurations. The first will have a single motor, located on the rear axle, which will deliver 309 CV. The second version will have two motors, raising the maximum power to 536 CV. As for the batteries, it is known that they will be placed under the seats, but their capacity has not been specified.

The top speed this vehicle will offer is 200 km/h, which places it above the rest of the MG models. That said, its weight is quite considerable, between 1,850 and 1,985 kg. It is expected to reach Europe during 2024, but no confirmed date has been set for this yet.
