Lamborghini has already sold all the cars planned until mid-2024

The supercar maker has announced that it has sold its entire vehicle production until mid-2024, with sales growing month after month.

We are living in difficult times. The recent pandemic, the shortage of semiconductors, the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine and now inflation make buying a new car an even more complicated adventure. But this difficulty seems not to affect those who have the most. This is what can be gathered from the news Lamborghini has just announced.

And it seems that the supercar maker has its entire production sold out until mid-2024, as the waiting list has grown to 18 months. According to the brand’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, in statements to several American media outlets, the company has not only not reduced production, but has also increased sales year after year.

Lamborghini Aventador Fin Produccion

During the first nine months of 2022 7,430 vehicles have been sold, very close to the 8,405 vehicles the brand sold throughout 2021. Among the sales recorded in 2022, the Lamborghini Urus has been the best-selling model. In total, during the first nine months of the year, 4,834 units have been sold.

All this data suggests that over the remaining two months of the year the previous year’s sales figure will be reached and even that figure is expected to be exceeded. The challenges for the brand next year include the presentation of the model that will replace the Aventador, a supercar with a hybrid V12 engine.

This model has already been presented to some of the brand’s VIP clients, and it is said that it has already received reservations for around 3,000 units. Lamborghini’s growth strategy has meant that all these consecutive crises we have lived through have not affected its supply chain for manufacturing its cars, and it has had no supply problems.
