The poor Gallardo was going to be completely overshadowed by the new Aventador at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and, to avoid this, the Italian manufacturer has brought another (yes, another) limited edition called Bicolore to the Qatar show.

The essence of this version is that the upper part of the car, that is, the pillars, roof, bonnet and spoiler, is painted in Nero Noctis, and the rest of the vehicle in any of the five colours offered: Giallo Midas, Arancio Borealis, Grigio Telesto, Blu Caelum and Bianco Monocerus. The Bicolore will have Skorpius fifteen-spoke aluminium alloy wheels finished in titanium grey.

In addition, it will be characterised by the front spoiler, air intakes and upper part of the rear diffuser being painted in gloss black. The interior will also receive colour contrasts, produced by the Nero Persus leather upholstery on the door panels and seats and the stitching in the body colour, except for Bianco Monocerus.

Finally, the E-Gear transmission controls on the centre console and its upper part are in Nero Noctis. The Gallardo Bicolore will be sold in the European and Asian markets as the LP560-4 version, while the lucky American consumers who can afford one will get the LP550-2 version.
