Leapmotor sends the first fleet to Europe of its T03 and C10 SUV models
The alliance between Stellantis and Leapmotor marks a milestone in European sustainable mobility, with the arrival of new electric vehicles from China

Leapmotor International, a joint venture managed in a 51/49 ratio by Stellantis and Leapmotor, has started a new chapter in electric mobility by shipping its T03 and C10 models to Europe. These vehicles, which set sail from Shanghai, represent both companies’ firm commitment to innovation and sustainability in the European electric car market.
In September, the T03 and C10 electric models will begin to go on sale in nine European countries, supported by a network that will expand rapidly to reach 200 sales points by the end of 2024. Leapmotor International’s ambition does not stop at Europe; by the end of 2024, the company plans to introduce its products in the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and South America.

Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, stated: “The shipment of Leapmotor C10 and T03 vehicles to Europe is a historic moment in our partnership. We are committed to offering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions to our customers. Thanks to our strong commercial assets in Europe and the hard work of our teams, I am confident that Leapmotor’s electric vehicles will be warmly welcomed by the European market.”
Leapmotor: more than 400,000 electric vehicles sold
Zhu Jiangming, founder and CEO of Leapmotor, highlighted the company’s success in China, where it has already sold more than 400,000 electric vehicles: “China is the largest and most competitive electric vehicle market in the world, and the acceptance of our local customers demonstrates the value of our products. The C10 and T03 models were designed to meet high international standards, and we are confident that our collaboration with Stellantis will drive significant growth.”

Leapmotor International has ambitious expansion plans. Leveraging Stellantis’ distribution channels, the joint venture expects to increase its European sales points to 500 by 2026. This growth will not only ensure a high level of service for customers, but will also strengthen Leapmotor’s presence in the competitive electric vehicle market. With plans to launch at least one new model per year over the next three years, this partnership promises to be a transformative force in the industry.
