Lexus could make the LF-A Roadster a reality in 2014

As you may have heard, Lexus knows very well that its LF-A is a coveted object of desire for every fan of high-end sports cars, which is why it could not pass up the opportunity to create the convertible version of it, a vehicle that will almost certainly be well received in a market hungry for models like the one Lexus is proposing.

This bombshell comes to us from Automotive News, a specialist magazine that has made public not only this juicy information but also all the medium-term plans that the Japanese manufacturer’s offices have been guarding so jealously until now.

As for the LF-A Roadster, it could apparently reach the market in 2014, one year after production of the coupé version ends, limiting to a minimum any possibility of commercial collision between the two models. Once again, only the 500 fastest will be able to get their hands on this tasty “hairdryer” equipped with a massive V10.

Finally, and no less interesting, the guys at Automotive News have revealed the plans through 2015 that the leaders of the Toyota luxury brand will follow. Specifically, we are talking about the complete redesign of the Lexus IS, presented and going on sale by the end of 2012.

Around the same time we can look forward to the complete redesign of the Lexus ES or the Lexus GS, although the latter should be available in all markets by the beginning of that same year (2012).

Moving on to early 2013, we find the redesign of the LS range, seeking a notable improvement in weight in order to achieve noticeably better consumption. A year later, in 2014, we get the new Lexus RX, while the long-awaited LX will arrive in 2015.
