Lexus does not stop and announces the Lexus LC F for October

It has been very little time since Lexus announced the arrival of the LC500, and even less since it told us that this model would feature an efficient hybrid drive system, in the form of the LC500h. But the premium brand does not intend to rest on its laurels and is already preparing a new launch to surprise us. The date chosen for the market debut of this new model is October, taking advantage of the Tokyo Motor Show.
The name of this new model will be Lexus LC F and it is said that it will go beyond the LC500, improving on the performance offered by the model we already know. As for the body, it will feature an entirely new body, designed from scratch but maintaining the look that has shaped the LC500. In this case, the bonnet will have air intakes to improve engine performance, a fixed rear spoiler, a front diffuser and 20-inch alloy wheels.

But where the brand seeks to offer a more engaging driving experience is in the engine. This model could be fitted with a new 4.0-litre V8 engine that will deliver a power output of 600 CV and a maximum torque of 640 Nm. This unit is, in essence, two 2.0-litre four-cylinder engines joined at a 90º angle. This engine will be tested in this new model, but it is expected to be included later in other models from the brand, such as the Lexus GS F, where it is expected to produce 550 CV.
To manage that power, the Lexus LC F will feature a ten-speed gearbox, which can also be found in the Lexus LC500. We know little more about this Japanese model, but based on what has leaked to the press, we can already assume that its selling price will far exceed the price of the already spectacular LC500. We are waiting to see some images of the model, but for now, let’s revisit the LC500 to get an idea of what this model may bring us.
